AWS Management was created to assist screenwriters, filmmakers, directors, producers further their career. At this time, we are not repping actors or musicians. AWS Management is a boutique management division of Award Winning Screenwriters - we invite you to grow with us. With good connections in the film industry (literary agents, prodcos), we are able to make relationships that last a lifetime. We invest a good deal of our time and money to develop talent, and to promote and publicize their work. Above all, we want commercial, original, and brilliant artists. High concept is a bonus.

****IMPORTANT NOTE****  We receive hundreds of submissions a month, and we go through them all. You will receive an email when we get to your script or film.  Please do not call or email about talent management services - the only way to be considered for representation, is by reading the Release below, filling out the form, and sending in your material.  No exceptions. Your calls and emails will not be returned regarding representation, it's the old "don't call us, we'll call you."  But seriously folks, don't do it, resist, please just wait in line like everybody else. You will get an email when we get to your entry. Thanks.****

What we want:  High Concept! Great Hook! And, action, adventure, biopic, blockbuster, caper/heist, character-driven, comedy, conspiracy, dance, detective, disaster, drama, edgy, ensemble, environmental, epic/saga, espionage, fairy tale, faith-based/biblical, farce, futuristic, journey, family, high concept, international, love story, martial arts, mystery, mythical character, public domain literary adaptation, romance, sci-fi, sports, star-driven, superhero, suspense, thriller, webisode, TV, true story or based on a true story (as long as writer has the rights to the story) PG/PG-13 or R rated is ok.

What we DON'T want
(please do not submit): animation, art house, film noir, creature feature, teen-angst, dark or black humor, erotic, gore, horror, western, paranormal/occult, supernatural, satire, slasher, x-rated, stage play.

If you are selected to be a client, you will sign a Management Agreement, and may be asked to re-write, re-edit, or re-format material according to buyer's needs or for commercial purposes.

First, all of your material will be thoroughly covered:  all your screenplays will be read; and all your films viewed. We need to know what your body of work and artistic vision entails.

Second, your strongest piece will be read and covered by our analysts, (who also do coverage for Disney, Sony, Warner Bros., Samuel Goldwyn Films, MGM, Tri-Star, ICM, Showtime, Comedy Central, Fox, Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowships), and you may be asked to re-write and/or re-format accordingly.

Third, it is a requirement and solely the talents' responsibility, to bring script grammar and format up to industry standards; and to register and/or copyright every script/film.  It is also the talent's responsibility to ensure film clips are edited and formatted to industry quality and standards. When formatting is up to par, your strongest piece will be shopped around to potential buyers.

We are extremely selective in the writers and material we accept for representation; both in terms of responsiveness and professionalism, quality and artistry, and what we think we can sell in this challenging economy.  We invest a good deal of our time and money into developing talent, and as such, will ask the talent to commit to at least an 18-month representation period and the management fee, which is 10% of gross receipts for work obtained during that time frame.

We are looking for top-rate talent who are willing to work hard to take their career to the next level, especially those who have won awards. For films, small-sized Youtube clips are best, or a link to a player on your website. PDF scripts only (no FDR). All scripts/films should be registered or copyright.  To submit, read Release Agreement below.
